Price: CHF 180 (Swiss Francs) for the whole event, excluding any optional workshops. At the time of writing (end May), this is € 119 (Euros), or $ 158 (US Dollars).

Tickets can be bought either by bank transfer (please contact us for details) - or below via PayPal. This is a very secure way of paying - with or without a credit card.

There will be a maximum of 360 seats available. We've had a great deal of interest from all over Europe, and anticipate that the event will be sold out quite soon.

You will now receive an automatic PayPal confirmation of your payment. PayPal will also immediately inform us of your booking. Just arrive at the registration desk and tell us who you are. We’ll have your name on our list, and are looking forward to welcoming you. To help us with that, if you buy two or more tickets, please contact us to let us have all the names besides the holder of the PayPal account. Thank you.

Optional workshops:

There will be three optional workshops on the Sunday morning, hosted by Bill Ryan, Brian O'Leary, and Dan Burisch/Marci McDowell. These will be for smaller groups of 30-50 people and (because of their structure, and interactive format) will NOT be translated into German.

The price for a workshop is CHF 40 [~26 Euros] and is an additional cost. The opportunity is to interact personally with these speakers in a smaller group and to engage with them in some detail with questions, dialog, and in-depth exploration of their research and experiences.

* NOTE, 24 June: Dan Burisch's workshop is now full. For anyone who may feel disappointed, Bill Ryan will also be speaking about the multiple timeline problem - and there is still room in Bill's workshop. Dan's workshop will also be recorded on video.

You can also pay by bank transfer if you prefer - please contact us for details.

We'd like to emphasize that these workshops are an optional addition to the conference and not an essential part of it per se. As can be seen from the conference schedule above, each speaker will present their research and experiences to the main group for several hours - and all this will be fully translated.

For those who do not understand English well, or who feel that the main conference amply meets their needs, they may well greatly enjoy spending their Sunday morning networking with other conference delegates in local hotels or cafés... or simply taking advantage of the atmosphere of Zurich in the height of summer.

Venue: The Volkshaus, Zurich

Click here for a fully detailed interactive map which shows hotels, restaurants, and all public transport links.

The Volkshaus is a very traditional venue which Zurich people love. Delegates should be aware that this is not comparable to the kind of 21st century, hotel-based conference facility which some may expect after attending other conferences elsewhere in the world.

It is an old building (although it has been modernized to some extent) and although it hosts every kind of local event, year-round, the facilities are limited. This is why cafés, restaurants and accommodation will all be found in the very interesting and multicultural local area, and we will be providing delegates with all the information and support they need to make their way around and make themselves comfortable.

Travel to Zurich: The nearest airport is Zurich airport, which is (as is everywhere in Switzerland!) excellently served by public transport; nine trains per hour bring you to the heart of Zurich in 22 minutes. Alternatively, fast and comfortable trains travel to Zurich from all European cities.

Hotels: There are large numbers of hotels in Zurich, ranging from modest guest houses to large international hotels. Please click here for a hotel list.

Restaurants: Please click here for a restaurant guide and here for an interactive map. (This website might also be useful.) The Volkshaus (the Conference venue) is in the heart of the city, and is with easy reach of a wide range of facilities.

This second interactive map shows all the hotels, restaurants, and cafés in the immediate vicinity of the Volkshaus.
