• Brian
O'Leary, Ph.D suffered the ridicule of his schoolfriends when
- several years before Sputnik - he announced his
intention to go to the moon. Yet by the age of 27 he was a
member of NASA's astronaut program, slated to be one of the
first to visit Mars.
Several
years later, he resigned (for various reasons) and took up
a career in academia where he rubbed shoulders with - among
many others - Carl Sagan at Cornell and the pioneering psi
investigator Robert Jahn at the physics department at Princeton.
A
near-death experience in a auto accident encouraged his exploration
of the paranormal, and soon after he applied his considerable
abilities to the investigation of Free ('overunity') Energy
and psi phenomena. He authored several books and became a well-known
Free Energy activist.
An
optimistic, gentle man, Brian O'Leary is gifted to possess
intellect, vision and graciousness in equal measure. We are
delighted to welcome him to Switzerland - where, as a young
man, he climbed the Matterhorn 47 years ago.
His
list of personal friends reads like a Who's Who of
notable paradigm-challenging researchers and out-of-the-box
thinking scientists. In his presentation at the Zurich conference,
he will summarize his exceptional life, and present his vision
for the future.
• The
following is a detailed
summary, written by Brian himself, of what he plans to talk about
in Zurich:
Dr.
Brian O'Leary will
be
speaking on the topic of his latest book: "The
Energy Solution
Revolution: A socio-political journey through the tangled web
of free
and clean energy, its promise, its suppression and its logical
necessity for our survival."
Drawing on more than two
decades of
personal visits to the laboratories worldwide of leading researchers
who have proven several concepts of over-unity energy, Dr.
O'Leary has
concluded that we can have a New Energy Age if we can remove
the
controlling elements that have decisively suppressed this research
in
order to preserve a dangerous status quo vested in
'dirty' energy.
In his presentation, Dr. O'Leary will examine
the evidence for zero-point (vacuum) energy, cold fusion and
advanced hydrogen and
water technologies, and explains how a unified research and
development effort could be launched to bring these sources
into practical use under responsible stewardship.
These new
energy sources
promise a world of clean, cheap, decentralized, safe and
publicly-transparent energy leading to a sustainable future
for humankind. At the very least, the possibility of implementing
one or
more of these concepts needs to be understood and debated in
a more
democratic way than has happened so far.
The immediacy of solving the energy-environmental-climate
crisis through implementing solution energy technologies also
suggests that
we found a new science of consciousness, healing and ET contact.
Dr.
O'Leary makes a plea for the world community to join together
with
benevolent ET cultures to overcome the tyrannies of control,
warfare
and pollution and to create a world of sustainable abundance
under
responsible regulation.
He writes, "Embracing
the possibility of a
breakthrough energy solution revolution and a new science of
consciousness should be our mandate, not an idle speculation
to be
ignored or ridiculed or feared. To make
this possible, we'll need all the help we can get from off-planet
cultures to help us make the necessary transitions toward
an enlightened future for a humanity in balance with nature."
Brian O'Leary, Ph.D., is a scientist-author-philosopher
with fifty
years of experience in academic research, teaching and government
service in frontier science and energy policy. He was a NASA
scientist-astronaut during the Apollo program, the first to
be selected for a planned Mars mission, and participated in
unmanned planetary missions as an Ivy League professor.
Over
the past four
decades, Dr. O'Leary has been an international author, speaker,
peace/ environmental activist, founder of non-profits, and
advisor to
progressive US. Congress members and presidential candidates.
In
2004, he and his wife, the artist Meredith Miller, moved to
the Andes
in Ecuador where they co-created Montesueños
or "mountain
dreams" -- an
eco-retreat and educational center dedicated to creativity
and to the
rights of nature.
His books on new science
solutions to environmental challenges (in reverse chronological
order)
are The Energy Solution Revolution, Re-Inheriting the Earth,
Miracle
in the Void, The Second Coming of Science, and Exploring Inner
and
Outer Space.
